This stove saves power because when it is not in use it goes into sleep mode, so it actually reduced my electricity bill. The stove is so elegant looking; it does not feel out of place in my kitchen. The broiler works precisely like a grill and we actually threw out our grill as we had no use for it anymore. The broiler made food just like our $2,000 grill. Also, the range distributes heat so well that you don't have to move your food round the oven to brown both sides evenly. The oven underneath is rather roomy and holds about 6 cubic feet so it can accommodate a large quantity of food just like any regular oven. It used to take too long to clean up my old stove, the grates were so difficult to scrub, but this does not have grates, so you can just wipe the counter top of the range.
